Wooden box with attached domed lid and metal clasp. Exterior of box is covered two layers of paper. Top layer is embossed with an all-over floral pattern in gold on dark brown. All edges are covered with thin strips of sold blue paper. Small piece of bottom layer of blue paper is visible on lid.
