Hardwood stock w/ elongated muzzle enclosing an iron ramrod. Decorated thumbpiece and brass trigger guard. "1861/ TOWER" stamped on firing mechanism. "T & Co." stamped on ramrod.

A)Triangular hollow cast iron head w/ sliding rear door w/ ball handle. Opens to reveal a scrolled grate which holds heated iron element. Spool-shaped turned wooden handle with incised lines. B) Triangular iron insert.

Fluting iron

"Iron dog" type andirons. Ring-tops w/ tapered chamfered shafts terminating at disc w/ arched feet. Square billet bar.

Chest

Chest. Wood, metal, glaze. Rectangular box form with hinged, flat lid. Composed of various pieces of wood. All wooden parts of piece rained except top. Reddish-brown glaze over yellow-ochre basework matches graining seen throughout the Coffin House kitchen.

Boots

Black calfskin leather. Low-heeled man's boots, calf length w/ two pull-on tabs. Labeled inside, "Medaille D'Or/ Paris 1878/ Henry Herth/ 48 Rue de la Chaussee d'Autin/ Paris."

Black leather boots w/ mid-length cylindrical body or calves w/ two side seams and a second horizontal frontal seam. Slightly shaped at top w/ woven cotton twill tabs to pull boots on. Appear to be a machine stitched. Heavy soles w/ cut nails.

Condiment bottle

Transparent aquamarine colored body. Two-part mold. Squared body w/ canted corners, squared and pitched shoulders peaking to circular neck ring. Short cylindrical neck w/ turned over lip at mouth.

Toasting rack

Thick wire construction w/ a rectangular body w/ two wire L-shaped legs at one end and a corresponding elongated shaped handle.
