Bowl with Lid

Round treen box; small, painted bright blue. Made from one piece of wood into squat rounded form with round lid that locks in under inner rim. Low rectangular knop.

Apothecary bottle

Green glass apothecary bottle. Large and straight sided with high shoulder and out-turned lip. Blown pontil glass. Label on front.

Cockrel Weathervane

Wooden cockerel weathervane. Fairly slender with highly stylized intertwining (carved separately) bold crest and wattles. Carved narrow eye. Large claw feet grip a rectangular base. Carved on both sides. Traces of old black, red, and yellow paint.

Spice box

Green-painted tamarack spice box with sliding cover over six compartments. Cover with shaped handle containing a heart. Cover also decorated with chip carving. Carved encircled six-pointed star/flower.

Round splint-woven basket with two bands of light blue paint on the outside (top and bottom).

Large treen (wooden) charger with wide rim and deep well. Not unlike church communion plate or "tondino". Turned with incised bands on rim and center. Very light weight.

Treen handled bowl of dark figured wood. Bottom half turned on a lathe. Top half and handle carved. All form a single piece of wood. Deep round bowl. Light weight.

Treen porringer with wide and deep rounded bowl and flat, downturned handle. Light weight, V-notch to rim.

Wooden plate fashioned from a single piece of wood; small rim and shallow well; incised bands on the reverse.

Bowl

Small round buff-colored earthenware dish (or shallow bowl) with rounded sides. Delicately tooled notched rim and distinctive bright yellow glaze on face. Splash of yellow on underside.

Storage Jar

Large red earthenware jar, unglazed outside, brown glazed inside and rim; incised inscription around outside (large, somewhat crude penmanship); bulbous ovoid body; uncovered; very heavy.

Bank

Ceramic still bank molded to look like a large orange (or a grapefruit), with bumpy orange-peel texture and deep ochre yellow paint; large slot near top.

Tortoiseshell Glazed Plate

Redware plate, smallish in size; uneven scalloped edge, pared from the reverse; overall orange glaze with dark manganese splotches in a tortoiseshell design.

Combware Platter

Rectangular redware platter; pie-crust edge; combed slip decoration in brown and yellow; lead glazed.

Miniature Fire Bucket

Wooden bucket of swelled cylindrical form, painted red with black and yellow trim and a large yellow numeral `3' on its side; brokend leather handle.

Bottle

Blown glass wine/spirits bottle, clear olive-green glass, with squat bulbous base and narrow neck disk below rim; concave base, some bubbles to glass.

Jug

Globular-shaped redware jug with small foot and shoulder-to-body strap handle, covered overall with a rich and somewhat mottled unusually green glaze; lightly incised band near top; spots where dripped glaze did not join.

Treen charger, flat face with incised banding and shallow foot rim; warped, of lightweight wood.

English Yelloare Pitcher

Large creamware picher of barrel shape and foliate strap handle; body decorated with a pale yellow glaze and painted roulette-like banding to the top and bottom in shade of dark brown and rust. Sometimes categorized as English Yelloware.

Wooden spice mill, its baluster-turned canister and handle painted a rich green, withs wrought iron arm and grinding shaft.
