Demilune paste board band box covered with a block printed green and white leafy pattern over which is applied a brown flocked floral wreath pattern with orange painted details. The lid is attached with silk ribbons and contains a black lace and silk ribbon bonnet.

Bandbox

A wooden oval band box covered with block printed wallpaper of pink and white flowers with green leaves on a blue ground. Lined with scrap paper, some with arithmetic exercises in ink, and newspaper scrap dated Jan.8, 1839. The inner bottom of the box is also filled with mathematic figures.

Doll

A handmade female doll with cloth arms and a carved wooden body and legs. It has a featureless cloth head with human hair. Its costume is a pink glazed chintz dress covered with lace netting.

Bonnet

A small shallow bonnet covered with pleated "crinkled" black crepe and ruffled crepe at the brim. It ties with a wide black grosgrain ribbon, and is lined with black silk taffeta. It is a mourning bonnet.
