Chippendale side chair, painted black, w/ evidence of white paint and red stain. Straight legs w/ thin beading at outside corner; 4 rectangular stretchers; replaced rush seat; 3 pierced slats connect tapered and shaped stiles.

Banister-back side chair. Five banisters tenoned into a splat rail and a scalloped crest rail. Turned stiles topped by ovoid finials. Turnip front feet. Two decoratively turned front stretchers, two side stretchers on each side, and one rear stretcher, all plainly turned.

Rectangular glass in conforming frame with broken scroll pediment and scrolled apron. Shallow, incised carving and gilt on gesso overall. Chalk mark on rear: "1812(9?)." Also marked, "L66." "Old Chippendale/ mirror/ owned by Silas Casey & then/ by Edward Pearce Casey."
