Annular brooch made from gold-plated metal. Gold seal with embossed inscription "Salem High School" with red and blue enamel background applied to proper left side of ring. Closure with a hinged pin and safety clasp on back. Unmarked, probably made in the United States.

Portable desk

Portable desk made of mahogany with bound brass corners, attached brass handles on each side and brass plaque on top (See Inscriptions). Mahogany re-purposed from the window seats of the Hancock House, Boston, MA, which was torn down in 1863. Escutcheon lock with key.
