Ring and pin game

This game has two pieces: one hand-carved wooden stick and a carved wooden ring. The ring is attached to the base of the stick with a length of colored twine. A dexterity game, the object is to loop the ring over the tip of the stick.

Bracelet

This bracelet is constructed from alternating cylinder-shaped and rounded wampum beads strung on an elastic cord.

Pipe

This pipe is constructed from carved deer antler. The stem is wrapped with twine in alternating stripes of red and white flanking a section of tanned deerskin stitched in place around the stem. The bowl is decorated with a glass bead and bird feather.

Quahog shell

One half of a quahog shell of the type used for wampum production. Interior is bicolored white and purple.

This large serving spoon (A) consists of a mussel shell lashed with sinew to a smoothed stick handle. It rests on a custom stand (B) made from the cross-sectional slice of a tree and a deer antler.

This round basket is woven with ash splints of various widths in a checkerboard pattern. The exterior is decorated with purple pigment in repeating dots and undulating lines.

This doll is constructed from cornhusks and dyed twine. She wears a glass bead necklace and fingertwined headband and carries a fingertwined sash.
